As a chartered psychologist I am curious about how people and organizations grow. Trust is the crucial element that lets the available information comeinto awareness and that allows different perspectives to meet and form the insights that later build sustainable action.
Research show that one single voice of difference in a team, raises the decision quality and increases the output value of the teamwork, compared to when a team has the warm feeling of being in agreement when they hinder themselves from access to important critique and qualifying thinking processes.I work with both individuals, teams and their organizations.
Very often my work is about finding ways to allow the wisdom and capacity in a collaboration to break through.Why me, when meYou would like to talk to me if you were thinking of how you wanted to move forward in a complex reality, if you wanted something new but didn't yet understand what or how. My background is in several different roles around leadership and capabilities. I have been in HR-consultancy, management consultancy, and in senior leading roles within OD.My roles as manager, consultant, educator, coach and counsellor altogether allows me to listen and reflect with a deep understanding of business, life and personal and organizational dilemmas. I work internationally and my professional languages are English, Swedish and "Scandinavian".
Born in Poland, raised in Berlin. After being an developer, serial founder, product manager and work culture influencer in Berlin digital space –he joined Digital McKinsey to succeed in persuading an integrated mindset shift on large scale. His strength is building teams and systems to enable an agile product delivery and mindsets.Mariusz is a certified yoga teacher.
Jan is one of the co-founders of SelfLeaders and Relate. SelfLeaders is a Nordic leadership development firm that works to co-create a organizations where all are leaders. Relate started 2017 and help people create more authentic relationships that last in the long run.
SelfLeaders has since 2009 been offering leadership development courses based on the latest science in adult development and motivational psychology in the business world and at academic institutions. SelfLeaders have been cooperating with Stockholm School of Economics, Uppsala University, Royal Institute of Technology, University of Cambridge and Harvard Graduate School.
Jan is based in Stockholm and has been leading the development of the SelfLeaders methodology, based on scientific theories, used in more than 300 companies and reaching out with leadership programmed to more than 70 000 employees worldwide. He has specialized at working with values and cultural transformation and has had the privilege to work with many top management teams in big organizations like Ericsson, Spotify, PwC and SEB. Since 2009 he has been in charge of the Self-Leadership course at Stockholm School of Economics and part of the faculty at SSE Executive Education, focusing on new ways of implementing values and applying the Adult Development Theory in organizations.
Jan is an active board member of the Ekskäret Foundation and is working together with the Center for Social Sustainability at the Karolinska Institute, to discover and build “Super Skills for the 21:st Century”.
